I hurt my back a week ago, finally got home to see the doc, thinks it is a nerve pinched in my neck. Going for a MRI today, and then back to the doc on Tuesday. My question is, has anyone on here been hurt working at Roehl, and what should I expect from the workmans comp company they deal with? I am just looking to get the problem fixed and get back to work, but my doc tells me that if it is bad enough I might require surgery and a lengthy recovery.![]()
Anyone been hurt at work???

Look for a good chriopractor. I was in a bad accident in 2002 and sent to one, I thought it was some bull that our lawer wanted us to do but it really did help. You will probably have to do multipule treatments, but if you really just want to get better and back to work that's what I would do. Matter of fact I just went to mine yesterday cause my back was sore. Sorry can't help u with the question about rhoel.

I can't tell you anything about the company in particular, but I agree with Clare on the chiro as long as there is no damage to the bones. A good chiro is an awesome thing!

amen... Chiro's are the best

Everything goes pretty smooth, the best thing you can do is keep in touch with Karen. If you are hurt you know who she is. Not the easiest person to get in touch with but she's your new best friend. Ask her what you need to take to, or get from the doc's and everything will go smoothly. When she gets back in touch with you ask her about the workman's comp people and what you'll need to do to make that go smooth. If you have trouble reaching her, have you FM walk in her office and wait for her to get off the phone, and tell her to call you back. Or that's what I heard anyways.

Been to the chiro many times, called him about this and he said this was over his head, He told me to go the regular doctor route get an mri and all that, and if it is just something out causing the problem call him back, but he thinks it is a bad disk.

Depending on what's wrong with the disc, be cautious about the surgery route. Surgery for certain disc issues is not always the best route, and does not actually improve the symptoms.

My husband got hurt while at Roehl. He hurt his neck and back. This is what he/we got: he was denied by worker's comp. Only received short term disability for a few months. We paid out of pocket for his medical treatment which included surgery. We got a lawyer which in turn gave them reason to fire me. Good luck. Hope you fair better. As it turns out Roehl did us a favor we now run for a company that knows how to run teams and we are far better off now than we were with Roehl.paoldschool Thanks this.

Been to the Pain clinic, had a shot in my neck today, steroids, and something for the ouch... I think it helped alittle, time will tell... The lady at the comp company already thinks I am lying to her... BIG FUN!
