I have a digital TV that is not pulling in a picture while in the truck. I am a newbie so don't know a lot about how the TV is supposed to work in the truck. There is a cable hook up in the truck. The TV is a digital TV. The mechanic said I need a converter. The converters that I see are for analog to digital. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't had any problem with the flat screen in mine (23" marine monitor 12v DC). I think the life expectancy is dependent on mounting. Some friends of mine have been through 2 in the same time frame, though their original 1 made it 6 years... They were attempting to save a buck when it went out and bought a less expensive, smaller unit that didn't fit the old frame/mount assy. Not once, but twice now and are blaming the TVs??

When dh bought our 60 inch his first thought was how do I fit this in the truck....there goes my space in the bunk
-
If I may ask, how'd you mount it into the wall? -
How do you mount it/power it?
So far, for this topic, 51'' and 60'' are the largest people have come up with, but how do you mount/power them/connect them? -
LongRoadTrucker Thanks this.

Our tv is mounted on our wall at home. That was a joke people as wells as the other poster I believe. Personally we just use our laptops but if you have that much time to watch it then you are with the wrong company!

But seriously though, you two had my hopes up =/ -
I have a Visio 24" that I have mounted to an adjustable arm. the arm is actually mounted to the cabinet at a 90 degree angle so it rests at the foot of bunk. I could try to get a picture of it tomorrow when I have some better lighting. The other advantage to this arm is that it has some give in and I think it absorbs a lot of the roughness of the freight-shaker, heh.
