Any Recommended California CDL Attorneys?

I have had a squeeky-clean MVR since getting my driver's license at 16. Now, I am faced with improper lane travel while heading back to Washington state. I am wondering if there are any here who might recommend a good California CDL-knowledgeable traffic attorney. I have no issues with paying a fine, but if it is possible to at least remove the ticket from being a moving violation, I would like to pursue it. If not, then I will take my lumps and smile whilst doing so.

For those curious, I was on a state freeway near Chino, four lanes in my direction, when I came upon two 4-wheelers taking up the two inside lanes, nearly abreast, going less than 45 mph. I mistakenly thought that if the third lane was clear, and there were no signs prohibiting such, that it was OK to pass using that lane. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I was puzzled why a CHP followed me from lane-to-lane.....until he turned on his lights. Even then I was convinced that he must be after someone else, for about 10 seconds, until it dawned on me that he was sticking to MY tail.

I am pretty upset with myself for not fully understanding California laws pertaining to this issue, and will never make that mistake again.

 

Thanks, guys. I wasn't so much hoping to beat the ticket, as to get the violation decreased to something that wouldn't hit my CSA 2010 score so hard. I think the fine is in the $200-300 range...which while a small hit in the pocketbook, isn't my main concern. I'll pay the fine without any fuss, I just hate having my MVR blemished. I could just slap myself for being so ignorant.

 

Thanks for taking the time to respond Tanker and WorkingClass. No inspection was done....the officer took my CDL, registrations (tractor and trailer) and insurance info, then issued the ticket. In fact, he didn't even leave his cruiser, he instructed me, via his PA system, leave the truck and come to his car. He never left his seat.

In your opinion, if I ever decide to change companies, how would this kind of moving violation look to an employer?
