Well, been lurking here for about, what, year and a half, two years, now? I'm about to sign on with prime at the foolish age of 22. Been wanting to be a trucker since I was eight years old, and now it's going to happen. I am glad I found this forum so long ago, helped keep me gunning for my dream. I'm starting orientation soon, and am basically shouting to the world: "Look out. I'm finally chasing my dreams."

Have fun, be safe & courteous, have respect for those trying to lend a helping hand, and use your common sense as often as possible!

If you are skinny now, enjoy it, cause in a few years you could be big as a house. :biggrin_255::biggrin_255: Hope you like mc donalds and subway. The message is try to eat right. Good luck in your new adventure.

Good luck man! I guess you are somewhat limited by your age as to company selection. If there is one thing that I would recommend to new drivers that are young is to have patience. I didn't at that age and it really hindered my success. So there's my two cents worth. You actually don't want to hear what I really recommend.
