Tired of People siphoning my tanks

What's this rubber insulator you speak of? Either threads touch threads or the tab type caps reach around and touch the inside of the tank.

Wouldn't the thieves see the obvious wire? Don't you risk frying the trucks ECM? Are dreams becoming reality?

Kind of what a cow does in a pasture.

 

I like the idea of useing an old truck as bait but instead of filling the tanks with gas or old motor oil fill it up with water. The water will sink to the bottom (where the siphon hose is) with fuel on the top. In the dark and in a hurry it will look and smell like D-2. The next day you recover the pic's from the game camara (Walmart cheap as $50) and see witch of your employee's have been ripping you off.
Oh yeah after all this is done it's easy to drain the water off and still have good useable fuel instead of tanks full of crap

Forget shooting them, even in Tx there are lawyers that would be willing to challenge a castle doctrine law, and do you really want to kill some one just for fuel? Even if done legal YOU WILL deal with it for the rest of your life!
