In others words, YOU STIFFED THAT DRIVER after he HELP you out ?
I've been in a similar situation and made the driver time worth while regardless if he wanted it or not, I SHOVED IT IN HE'S POCKET. (the money that is)

I offered to pay for fuel or whetever they needed, they said no.I didnt want to offend them by forcing money at them.So I gave them a set of ramps / bridges from my house.that was 1000$ and when another driver is facing the same ill return the favor for free as well thanks for jumping on me without knowing anything about,I also took them out to dinner for prime rib but I dont need to justify myself to you.plow sand

So why didn't you scale the load? Do you not know what trailers are "California legal"

Good for you, for what you done to compensate that hand, that came to help you out. He didn't do it for free, though. I'm sure Mercer compensated him for his work. I have always, always heard good things about Mercer. I wish they had a true Heavy Haul affiliate or Owner-Operator needing a Heavy Haul qualified driver.... No not through one of the cookie-cutter windmill so-called heavy haul companies either!!!! Mercer is an awesome outfit, from what I've been told.
Flightline Thanks this. -
Wishing alot more of this would rub off on the rest of trucking...
Flightline and skinnytrucker Thank this. -
