In some cases in our NE terminals if we drop there they will put a heater in the trailer.

I've seen this (maybe here & quite possibly from you in another thread?) 45.. 4+5=9th and so on.. it sounds like great advice. I used to tell my buds when they were learning to drive a five speed 1 up to 10, 2 to 20, and so on -- yes, I know -- this isn't the same for 10 & 12 speeds but you get the point; I can revert to something 'Monkey see, Monkey do' until I get the rhythm of the engine *and noise too*.

I really don't know what, unless you're talking about riding the clutch, 'floating' is.. but I'll be sure to ask Greg first thing on Monday - this coming Monday (OH YEA!! - been bumped!) - what exactly NOT to do for 'floating'; maybe he'll even show us a good 'example' of what not to do... hehe. I remember my days of instruction - ahh, we're all just kids at heart, right?

Yah, you got me guy. I love getting some front end so I can see a bit more clearly at first. Every now and again it backfires and I end up more confused than congress debating Monica L. & Bill C. - for instance. I once tried this with a few others in our 23rd week of M.O.S. training - big mistake. The instructor kept yelling 'That makes as much sense as wiping your butt before you crap!' Let's just say, the motto for the rest of the class then became 'Don't think about it - just do it, and nod your head'.

Oh.. almost forgot - Baritone: you plan on having some flavor with that snow cone? Nice pic man! Spring is just around the corner (from what that furry guy is saying). Almost time to get out the buffers and wax!

A little thought just hit me - Getting a little front end...

Reminds me of this one other time - not too bad, but wouldn't do it again the same way...

Road 'bronco' on Devil's hole ## Ocoee River in TENN.

I was leaning a bit to forward when I grabbed the d-ring for the air lift. I wasn't seeing very clearly at all when I landed on the backside of that rapid.:biggrin_25512:

It's a good thing I swim half way decent. It's even better that my life jacket didn't abandon me!

I agree about the floating. But the concept applies to double clutching. Still need to control rims. Great advice about speed and 45 = 9th. Spot on.

The first couple pics show how the ld shifted forward and remainder show the strapping pattern that held it. Hope this helps.
