need help with M11 Cummins cutting out. No ecm codes. Has Allison 740 trans, Can powerbrake truck with no problems but as soon as the truck moves forward the engine cuts out intermittently but does not stall. Idles good, can powerbrake all day long with no problem.Changed VSS with no change. Rewired VSS to ECM directly with no change. Looking for some help on where to go next.

Ok, start with ign. circuit, and check fuel pressure too. But I sugest it is wiring issue

why do you think that it only happens when truck is moving? we put it on jack stands and ran it standing still with driveline moving and same result so i don't think it is fuel. thought it may have been in vss harness to ecm but hardwired that and same result.same result while unplugging vss. strange thing is that we got no codes while unplugging vss. also took ecm from another matching truck same year with same ecm parameters and same result.

so use Cummins Insite software to be sure.

Well, it may be output shaft bearing play.

I know you guys don't think its fuel but have you actually thrown a gauge on it and checked? The M11 does not have a fuel pressure sensor so it will never set a fault code for fuel pressure. It would be beneficial in my opinion to throw a gauge on it and check fuel pressure and inlet restriction.
