US Express?

I just talked to recruiter this morning and said 95% are automatics and the more EXP. drivers get the 10 spds.

 

That is currently true, all of the new trucks, however, are 10 speeds and they just bought 3500 of them. I was at the Irving terminal a couple of days ago and there is a whole line of brand new Cascadia's with the plastic still covering the seats. All 10 speeds.

most companies have manual transmissions your better off learning to drive with a manual that an auto if you star off with an auto trans then chances are you'll have to re take the course again to learn how to shift gears. i don't know why there starting newbies in auto transmissions i really don't seems half assed backwards to me seeings how most companies use manuals.
