Unfortunately the transition to elogs is not painless - and it takes time to get all of the kincks worked out. My carrier started with one dispatch board and worked at it for 9 months to identify problems and work out new proceedures - then started to transition the rest of the fleet.

Eventually, it will work very well for y'all, but until then its going to be painful.

STNCOLD1, first of all yes I have been driving truck for 30 years, and yes, you do sound like you work for safety at JBS, JBS Carriers is not JBS USA and the DOT can put you down for safety violations.
I was just trying to give drivers that are looking for work a heads up that JBS has major problems. That is what this forum is about, is it not? I just wish someone had told me the truth when I started at JBS.
Now as fare as the CSA2010 putting drivers like me out of work, I am one of the drivers that will be testifying to the DOT in the next few weeks about JBS Dispatch, having drivers unplug there QUALCOMM and falsify logs so they can make appointments‘ Yes I did record phone calls for them and take pictures of the QUALCOMM loads. Good luck with that future at JBS.

Hey folks! This is the first time I have had a chance to get online and update my journey with JBS....

Okay, last Friday (Feb 4th), they had me bobtail from Greeley, CO to Hyrum, UT to pick up a new JBS trailer. The plan was to get new trailer back to the Greeley pool...

Well, before I got to Utah they planned me on a load that looked like it was coming out of the Hyrum plant and delivering to Eaton, CO on Monday (7th). At first glance, I figured they were loading one of the new trailers and thats how I would get it back to CO. Uhhh no.....

After trying to verify this pre plan Friday night, for the third time, I was told that load was a relay that was being loaded in Oregon and I would pick it up Sunday and deliver it in Eaton, CO Monday. I told them hell no! I told them they were not going to bobtail me 480 miles to make me sit for another day and a half. They were really cool about it and I got a load out of Hyrum going to LA - 3 stops. I delivered it Monday in LA and loaded bananas Tuesday morning in San Diego going back to Farr West, Utah for Wednesday morning. I then reloaded in Hyrum going to Southaven, Mississippi Wednesday afternoon, and I delivered that this morning (Feb 12th). I am picking up in Russellville, AR tomorrow and delivering in Winchester, KY Monday night.

They are working me towards the house (Jax, FL) so i can pick up the rest of my gear. I got 2200 miles the first week. After delivering in Winchester monday night, I will have a little over 2400 miles for this pay period with 11 days to go...not bad.

I have experienced some lack of communication here since I got started and had a long discussion about that with one of my DMs earlier in the week. However, it seems that if I communicate with them consistently, they are doing the same.

Although I would have like to have already been home to get my other gear by now, I can't complain about the miles. The Elogs is easy and I'm not having any other issues to this point...

I think that JBS is making great strides to be a good company and I think they have good people in the right positions now. I am looking forward to growing with this company....

Thats it for now...I'll update again later next week...

If you spent as much time doing your job as you do moaning and groaning you might still be here. Reread my previous entry I didn't say JBS Carriers was JBS USA. I said it was a division of JBS USA. Just like before you really don't know what your talking about.

I know you , You are the one that rolled a bull wagon so they put you in the office so they didn't get sued. Ya I was there when that happened, You are the one that says " the days of running hard are over" . lets tell all the drivers that you are lying two what the turn over rate at JBS is. It is posted on the net, why is it going so high? By the way I had more time while I working for JBS to play on the web than I did at home.
I'm just telling the facts, You say you can dispute this. anyone can look on the FMSCA web site and see JBS is not getting better, it is getting worse. Bull wagon roller you are in over your head, PS you also said JBS made 50 bill
