I don't know the exit # off hand but there is a truck stop at the Tyler exit if I remember correctly.

On beer loads if you at one of our terminals north of Ohio you can get a kerosene heater and put in your trailer as we don't have any docks to back up to.

Thanks Man - I found a Pilot right at exit 562. Only 14 miles to the customer for a 4:15am appointment. Gotta love those!

Miles will not be so good this week with snow slow downs and a reset in there.............Let's hope the week starts off good. Was finally able to get my truck washed and cleaned the inside good. I had over a month's worth of salt on that dang thing. Got tomorrow's dinner (pre)prepared in the crockpot and will turn that baby on when I leave for my customer. Will have Italian Sausage Soup for dinner!!!!!

Gotta love 67 degrees here too - windows open tonight for sure!

This is my first post on this thread but I have been lurking around here for a while just found out about 10 min. Ago that I got approved to start here at millis I will be calling in about an hour to pay my $100 so I can start in Ohio on march 7th I will probably start my own thread here in the next few weeks to keep everyone updated on my progress I was accepted to central refrigerated also but I thought this was a better choice ... Well if anybody is starting march 7th in Ohio let me know thanks

Not a very productive day..........woke up at 3am to ensure I make it to the customer by 4am. Get there and sit for 4 1/2 hrs while lumpers unloaded me. Finally completed and get a dispatch to grab a load in Hutchins, TX going to Valdosta, GA. Great - my son's are in school in Valdosta so will allow me to visit a little with them.

The pick up is set for 2pm - thinking I might get loaded early - head that way and arrive about 10:45am. Unhook and sit - and sit and sit and sit. Finally at 2PM my load is ready. Now only have about 3 hrs to run before my 14 is up.

Made it too Haughton, LA and have to shut down. Pull up to fuel and there is a Stevens truck infront of me that just finished fueling. He pulls up and I grab my fuel. I'm done and look up and see he's sitting in his truck but I am blocked in. So I wait - then I wait a little more. Finally I walk up there and he's sitting there doing his log. I said "are you about to leave as I am done and need to move so someone else can get it". He say's Im doing my log. I said ok - can you do that after you allow me to move from the pump. He's say's...."no - dont you know logging is required by law". I said (in my best dumba@# voice - "Really" I didnt know that! :biggrin_2559:

Then he gets all Attiudie Judy with me - shuts his door and then moves his truck. Gezzz what's with these guys. And he had a trainee in his truck.

Anyway - Grabbing some sleep and heading out early for GA. Really wanted to get there tomorrow night but doesnt look like that will happen. We'll see.

    Be safe!

:biggrin_25523: Great comeback! Some people are just born with that inconsiderate gene.
