I have been with them for six weeks now.
I was told $700 to $900 per week, it's been $400 to $650 at 14+ hours a day. We get 24% of the load, some are short travel and some are 200 miles, either way you end up with about $9 to $13 buck a hour average. We also get $13.65 per hour after two hours of waiting per load, so if you stuck waiting for two hours at load 1 and two hours stuck waiting at load 2, that's zero dollars for you, this happened twice today.
I was told we would almost never be out overnight and if we were, they would pay for you hotel, I am about to sack out in my truck again.
I was never told we would be on call only for loads, this means you must always be rested and ready for a 14 hour call out, so stay in bed untill the call.
We get every other weekend off, that is...work late Friday, off on Sat and be ready for call out at midnight Sun.
Hey, but everyone is really nice !!!

My hubby has been with them for 3 years, they have treated him well and he makes what we think is good money.

Why would you work for schwerman in calvert city ky when you can go right next door and work for Trimac and make aleasts 300 to 400 dollars a week more for doing the same work.
-
there have been threads on here from extrimac driver's complaining about trimac's messed up payroll system, and not getting payed, they may have researched the company first and decided that trimac wasn't a good fit.
-
I have heard of a few payroll problems but bottom line is if you run a trip for x amount of miles you will get paid for x amount of miles.

Been with them for almost 5 years. Paid well, treated well. I am in the chemical, liquid bulk side. That may be the difference. Also, I live in the chemical capital of the U.S. I am sure that helps.

you imagine work 14 hours and pull hazmat load for 13 buks for hour? that is crazy
