MBN tear down an rebuild.

    liner protrusion was the only thing I was worried about. You work the engine a lot harder than most people with what you do and the MBN is prone to sinking the liners. I thought pulling the head to check was being cautious and smart. With it coming in on the low side.........you may as well do it all, but I didn't expect you to find anything than the possibility of a low liner

    If the deck of the block looks good (absolutely no damage which I'm assuming you know that) and all the liners are on the low side of the spec I can get you the part # to the "other" spacer plate CAT has that is .003" thinner than the original. This nice jewel has saved my tail many times from performing a counterbore.

    Ya deck of the block had wear so no go on the thinner plate wish it was that easy.
