home. finally got home after 16 days

 

sittin' in fontana again. still just 90 miles from home. i'll sit here longer waiting for a load home than swift will actually let me stay home without turning in the tractor.

 

thanks, thats the main thing take everything in, and learn from your mistakes. i wish i could stay out longer i enjoy being out over the road but ive got a wife and a 4 year old daughter, that 2 weeks is as long as i can stand from being away from the daughter. but a nice break from the wife

 

yeap its funny what goes through a person's mind just sitting and driving down a long straight highway like texas or out west. where there isnt a whole lot to look at. sorry i meant besides all your left and right mirrors

 

Memphis, Tn surprised to run into Ms. Injun on the yard as wed we're dropping. So Banty <insert slang for rooster here> story for the day stopped for a break in truckstop. Trainers sle.eping and to get out you have to circle a row of trucks to get to enter/exit. Well this woke him up he opens the curtain while I'm waiting for another truck at stop sign. He accuses me of being lost I laughed and told him no I just got out of a truckstop. He says I felt your uturn like I'm lying to him about iot. I said go back to sleep so I can get on the highway! He #### and left me alone amen.

 

Waiting for shipper to finish loading a trailer... we are just into KY south of Cincinnati. We are headed to Wisconsin, and then home!
I know what you mean about family, RedS10. We have been out for 3 weeks. It is tough being away from them for that long.
