What about their local driver jobs at Pilgrims Pride in Boaz Alabama? Are they strict about your MVR?
-
Going to work for jbs they said 40cents mile 2100 to 3000 miles a week.good ins new trucks a new pete or a kw t660 working out of green bay wi cant wait.sound like a good company will update
jxu417 Thanks this. -
So now there is 2 treads going?
-
Yes on the other thread, they say they want to know about JBS good or bad but if you say something negative they jump on you and if you say that some of the employees in management are bad they jump you. When you got a few hundred employees in trucking some are going to be bad some are going to be good.

Rickway65 I do not think it would be wise to give DM names on hear. But it sound like all you whant to know is good things about JBS.
Good things
1. .40 mile or .30 they changed it so I have heard.
2. If you don't want to go to NY they wont make you.
3. Out min 3 weeks, was 4 weeks. don't know if that is good or bad for you.
4. Sometimes if you call your DM they will pay your waiting time, but not on produce.
5. They do pay holiday pay.
6. You can fuel at just about any pilot or loves
7 Pre-pass
8. Good trailers
Bad
1. Low miles, some weeks 1500 some 2500
2. Cant have a reliable pay average.
3. DM can not keep up
4. Two DM to a driver, they don't communicate.
5. Insurance, they switched company's It cost a lot more to go see a doctor than it did. 50% for prescriptions.
6. God help you if you get a truck service in Greeley, you will be there for 2 days sometimes.
7. What they think about drivers shows in the drivers lodge. Dirty, Dirty I killed 8 mice one day when I was waiting on my truck.
8. If they keep your truck over night, they will try to get you to sleep in a different truck.
9. Waiting for a load at one of the meat plants. (no pay)
10. 80% loads are less than 500 miles
11. A lot of broker loads.
12. Trucks governed at 65
13. E-logs
14. Trucks, striped to the bone. No place to put anything for a road truck.
15. Hyrum drivers have to unload some of there own loads .25 a hundred that's what it paid in 80ssydsdriver Thanks this. -
Yes I was in the other one as well, and its now closed also so they have started a new one..
I have agreed with some of the things you have said in the other, but always have to remember that whats bad for one may not be bad for another
-
Yes they are strict on MVR they only want quality drivers. They have good hours. My husband is home for the weekend on his 34 hour restart. He will answere any questions you may have. He is Fallin Angel. Stay safe out there. An Angel is watching over you.
-
1-insurence is lower now
2-greeley drivers lounge would be cleaner if drivers would keep it that way
3-65 is okay I average 8.2 miles to gallon
3-every load ive had 1000 or more miles
.25 a hundred is wrong its .25 a thousand and you never have to unload
not one broker load most of the freight is ours we do very little broker freight
4- e-logs are good keeps us from breaking the law and dispatch wont ask you to I was personally told not to go further than my q comm says to
5-Dms are good to the driver communication is key.
6-I know all this due to the fact that this is Fallinangel home for a 34 restart.ANY QUESTIONS -
Fallinangel saw that thread and stepped in useing my name. I appoligize when I said on the last post about him getting 3500 in less than 2 weeks, it was 5 days. My bad included days at orientation. Also 2weeks out 2days home, 3 weeks out 3days home. You must communicate with dispatch. They will work you home when you tell them you are ready but they may not be able to load you straight home. You go with the load. COMMUNICATION is the key.
