Fallinangel, .25 a thousand would be about 100.00 to unload a 40,000 load and as I said JBS Hyrum, not Greeley is required to unload their own trucks, and JBS is running about 70% broker loads.
Just remember that 65 maybe good for some drivers but not all, remember that when you drove 55 they said that was safe. I think that there are a lot of drivers like yourself that should not go over 65 for the safety of the public. But for myself I have driven millions of miles at 70, 75 without a single incident. If you look at the national average in this country 90% of truck accidents were below 65.
8 mpg is good for a big truck I agree, however I get 7.5 at JBS and use to get 4,000 a week, not two weeks, like it is now. You dont save a thing, it cost you money, you are loosing 1,000 to 1500 a week that is about $400.00 week or more, do the math. -
.25/thousand would be $10.00 on 40K and anybody doing that has only themselves to blame its their freight not yours refuse to do it -
The driver has to unload when you work For JBS hyrum. it is .25 a 100, I just looked it up in the book and that is what it says. You have to agree to unloading your truck when you signup with jbs Hyrum.
