I've been talking to people about renting parking place for home time. They want to know how much electric wattage I'll use when I plug in my truck. Are the heaters thermostatically controlled or are they a constant draw? Thanks

Sounds like you can give them any answer. :)

It's a constant draw, probably equivelent to a space heater. It all depends on the weather and your hometime. Right now you don't need one. I use to rent a secure spot for $50 a month but I never got home but every 4-6 weeks. They could probably figure $2 a day extra to plug in and they would be okay.

My block heater on my Dodge P/U with Cummins diesel sucked big watts. My power bill went thru the roof, then I wised up and only plugged it in about 2 hours prior to leaving for work.
