DAT 360- get loaded and any other crap wont come close to the dat board. It is expensive, 299.99/month. run the live mode and you can be well on your way to a decent load. And as to someone mentioning about staying away from CHR... umm they are the biggest and the "best" among the other sharks. 1.5% for 24 hr quick pay, fuel advance, and transflow!! The hardest part for you is going to be able to figure out which lanes to run. I run nj-ca with my equipment but am leased to a company that I have no complaints about.

It may be years before the chemicals used in the fracking process leach into the aquifers that well water is drawn from.I would get my water tested on a regular basis,they can only reclaim a small portion of the chemicals they put in the drill hole,the rest are left to leach into the ground.

 

Whats working for me is , i hooked up with a dispatch service that charges $350 mo. I was doing the power only thing, but that didn't work out. So, i bought me a 1996 trl and hit the road. I'm doing a lot better on my own. I know alot of people would tell you dispatch service don't work. To be honest its working for me, i don't have to worry about the rate, because they know what i will and will not take. I singed no contract , just month to month. Just another thought.

Yeah, many that I have worked with cut the check on day 29. Be prepared to play games - didn't get BOL, you are told they will take it via fax then "oh, no, we need originals." About 20% play these games. I only factor with companies that will do it for 1.5% and direct deposit. Any more than that and it is not paying for itself.
