You need CAPITAL to be O/O. You need to pay for fuel, insurance, plates to start. You've been on a lease, it didnt work, don't you get it ?.... You need money to make money.

 

Sell everything you own so you have the $$$... but, again, why would you do this in this economy? This ain't 2006.....

 

Your business plan.

1. Start a business with no money.
2. Operate a business with no money.
3. Try an operate your business with someone else's money.

All on a lease purchase program where the company is doing it because they make money and you don't and more then likely if you drove the same truck as a company driver you would bring home more money.

Company's don't do lease purchase programs because they care about you and want you to become a successful owner operator, it's because it is a good business plan and they make money by doing it.

 

With no insult intended, you have been driving for 11 years and have no capital to start a business? Trust us on this; you will net no more with a lease truck than you can net as a company driver. Most likely you'll net far less.

You are trying to do something -- in a hyper-competitive industry going through the nastiest recession in decades -- that can't be done. Becoming a lease purchase victim is not the way to enhance your income.

This a is 2011, not 1971 and the best way to make a fortune in trucking today is to start with a larger fortune.

 

You need to go to your bank. Talk with your accountant and get a busienss plan made up. You should qualify for a low interest small business loan or a SBA backed loan. Good Luck
