Looking for a good lease purchase program with no out of pocket expenses. The company I am leasing from now has done me a good job just not making any money! They give me a fuel card and I paid for my tag in payments so I basically leased the truck with no out of pocket money....looking for that but with a company that gets better freight rates and fsc. I also have very little van experience, no reefer but about 6 years flatbed. Thanks
Good lease purchase?

ok since there are no good ones how do you get into owner-operator with no capital to start? I have the credit just no operating capital?
-
You need CAPITAL to be O/O. You need to pay for fuel, insurance, plates to start. You've been on a lease, it didnt work, don't you get it ?.... You need money to make money.
-
Sell everything you own so you have the $$$... but, again, why would you do this in this economy? This ain't 2006.....

Your business plan.
1. Start a business with no money.
2. Operate a business with no money.
3. Try an operate your business with someone else's money.
All on a lease purchase program where the company is doing it because they make money and you don't and more then likely if you drove the same truck as a company driver you would bring home more money.
Company's don't do lease purchase programs because they care about you and want you to become a successful owner operator, it's because it is a good business plan and they make money by doing it.outerspacehillbilly, Paddletrucker and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
You are trying to do something -- in a hyper-competitive industry going through the nastiest recession in decades -- that can't be done. Becoming a lease purchase victim is not the way to enhance your income.
This a is 2011, not 1971 and the best way to make a fortune in trucking today is to start with a larger fortune.Diesel Dave Thanks this. -

You need to go to your bank. Talk with your accountant and get a busienss plan made up. You should qualify for a low interest small business loan or a SBA backed loan. Good Luck -
