What are the yellow tabs that fit on your wheel studs, that are a visual indication that your brakes are not frozen to your drums, called and where can I buy them?

I won't go into why I might need them for fear of embarrising myself further. Let's just say I had a couple that were going thump, thump down the road and I don't want it to happen again.

I have seen the painted tires, nothing wrong with that. I would think the yellow tabs, sticking out beyond the tire would be a better visual aid.

I was in St. Cloud and saw them at a local tire store, I didn't get them when I had the chance and am kicking myself in the rear end. Worse case I can call them.

I did that before. Set the trl. brakes in the wet winter time. Dummy.. Cost me 2 tires for that screw up. Now I never set my trl. brakes and when I drop my trl. I bleed off the brakes. Nice not having maxi's on the trl. Now I got to remember to set my brakes before I hook up to it tomorrow.
Been pulling Rollie's trls. for the last 2 months.

Oh the yard is now open in Houston..
Yea Ha NO MORE 4 Seasons lot!!!!!

Panhandlepat. I think your talking about those short yellow tabs that look like small arrows.
He's asking about the long tabs that come out on the side of the tires

    panhandlepat Thanks this.

The one's I am talking about are about 8" to maybe a foot long, 1.5" to 2" wide and are flexible. When threaded onto your studs the bend along the rim and stick out from the tire for several inches.
