So you fellas that run for WS....Give the noob here some advice, im not about taking shortcuts or anything, but in this business it seems word of mouth is the best way to learn about companies and their downfalls...Im getting all good about WS, which i admit is a bit strange...Either all of you are bonus hungry recruiters or i actually found a good company. Im hoping its the later....

I would love it if we got a hireing bonus, as I know I've gotten a ton of emails on here asking if they could put me down as the person the referd them and I havent seen a penny lol

But to answer your question, YES you have found a very good company (in my opinion). If you have more spacific questions I'd be happy to answer them, since I'm not going anywhere for 30 or so hours lol

First rule of being a sucessful truck driver, NEVER LEASE a truck from a carrier, if you want to own a truck go BUY a truck. Leaseing a truck is a quick way to go broke and ruin your credit all at the same time.

And no Watkins Shepard does not offer a Lease Purchase program. (Good Companies don't pull that crap)

Im starting to see some quite similar responses, both on here and in private correspondence. I am going to give them a call on monday.

I backed out of a school date shortly after joining here, took your guys' advice and backed off before i made a bad decision, now im looking for an approved school thats not a rip off.

Good Idea, Research is KEY for being sucessful in trucking. There are sooo many variables, in whether or not your cut out for it and what type of trucking you decide to do. Limiting your options and making quick/poor decisions can sink you real quick.

And luckily you have found the Best Resource for Truckers, TheTruckersReport.com!:biggrin_25525:
