Another Under-21 Rant

I was doing some research about seeing if there was any loophole for driving interstate while under 21. I found that some states issue non-resident CDL's. I was thinking hey, that fits my bill, don't have to illiegally hold 2 CDL's and I can just get a non-resident CDL and be good to go. I called up my bordering state I mostly wish to drive in and asked about getting one. I was told that this is strictly for those who are not citizens. I then quoted to him that these were for 'those who'se place of citizenship's cdl is not recognized by our state' or something real close to that, I then explained to him that I live in WY, and ID does not recognize my WY CDL, therefore I thought I was eligable. Sounds to me like the government's got it written to make life easier for those who are not citizens more than thier own.

I live 12 miles from the ID border, why is it I can legally drive 360 miles to the east, but not 15 miles to the west?

 

There are loads hauled every day that are 'illiegal', they get permits that make them 'legal'. Can I get a permit to do what I want to do?

 

Well I'm working trying to take over our family business, the majority of job sites themselves are in WY, but they are starting to haul a lot of material in to and out of ID because costs are getting so high here. I'm not worried about having experience where we own our own business. As far as the Military goes,I would be more interested in the Red Horse division of the Air Force.
