70g is out of my price range, and I'm not interested in a twin turbo cat. If I was to go to buy a 2005 kenworth or Pete I would insist on a cummins isx.

Sounds like a good truck. The price is a little high but if its what you want and your happy at that price go fot it. As far as the tranny and rears with 750,000 on them it would not bother me one bit. We have a 79 mack with over 3 million on it and have only done the tranny once and one rear in that time and it pulls a rgn and dump. My 96 Pete has over a million on the tranny and rears and never bin touched, 18spd with 40s and we run heavy 80,000 to 90,000lbs. Granted not as heavy as you.

That truck is the twin to mine except is a 5EK (I think) rather than the 6nz. My truck has 700,000 miles on it doing heavy work also (135,000lbs gross) I'm on the original rear ends(super 40's/4 way lockup) and motor(550) but have done the trans/clutch(18spd/2050ft/lbs). I just replaced all the air bags last week because of pinhole leaks. Kingpins last fall and springs on the front and torque arms on the rear suspension this spring. This past year I've been getting nickel and dimed to death on it. Right now if the motor went out of it I don't know if I'd fix it or just get out:biggrin_25513:I would say 35,000 is a little high. I know if I was offered 35 for mine I think I'd have to sell it. My truck gets around 5.5 in the winter and 6 in the summer. That's in Ont without any major hills though. I guess what I'm trying to get at is you are going to spend some money on it. It's still an 11 year old truck so take that into account when negotiating.Good luck.
