On another note: I met 3 guys who used to work for CRS on the adventure they call a bus ride (I sat next to a smelly hobo for half the trip and the bathroom light didn't work on one bus, so you had to aim and hope you hit the hole ).
One guy said F' CRS and that he thinks they should go have sex with themselves (he was a lease guy...hmmm, wonder what happened to him). The other two seemed to really like it. One was a trainer that just got home sick and wanted something Regional/Local after training for a few years. The other was a guy that actually did a lease with them and liked it (I have no desire to do this regardless of anyones positive experience) but he had a positive outlook on the whole program and said it is a good "starter company"

Good luck! I bet you could edit the title to your post to change the CR to CRS or ask someone on the forum staff.

Easy driver we all make a mistake every now and then.

Found out today that they put us up in a hotel the 2nd week of training so I am pretty happy about that. I understand that there is usually around 40 trainees to start and then you end with about half that. I hear that most of them drop due to drug screen, failure to disclose, and just decided they want to go home.
So far, I have really liked all the staff I have met and look forward to getting started.
Got a roommate now and he seem like a good guy.UTurn55 Thanks this. -
1st day is half over and a few guys went home for non disclosure...THEY WILL CATCH YOU IF YOU LIE. They are not joking about this!
-
I believe I told you they would.

Good Luck out there.. -
Don't lease a truck, man.
It's a bad deal no matter how you slice and dice it. -
Yep yer right on that one - my bad - but you see or hear of one coolie company, you seen 'em all, I guess - tend to lump them all together.
Tim-good luck with them, for what it's worth.... -
Thanks man yes CW, you did tell me that. Couple of the guys getting sent home tried to tell us ridiculous stories as to why they are going away. I now understand all of the crazy horror stories and how they are not true (mostly).
We started today and we have until Wed at 8am to be ready for the cdl permit test...guess I got a few all night study sessions to go... -
CDL written is easy - don't be up all night LOL - just take your time and above all get your rest - you'll be stressed enough as it is without the specter of sleeplessness on top of it...
