Russell from Celadon is one of the key figures along with the ATA that is responsible for pushing for this. He has a vested interest in it. More profit for less wages. Of course Celadon is down with this. Im sure you will see that Swift and probably US express is pretty cool with the idea to and you can bet yourself a hundred dollar bill it doesnt have anything to do with the fact that they think it will be better for the US trucking industry. Im all for a free market society and letting companies make their money but you would think it would come to a point with some of these companies that the best interest of the country as a whole would come before making that one extra dollar. Profits have been completely put in front of the good of the country the last couple of decades and its really showing in the shape that the country is now in.There is and has been plenty of money to be made without contributing to the destruction of the country

They don't care if they are making money AND doing something good for the country that made it possible for them to make that money, they are only interested in making even more money and to hell with anyone else. Once one company sells the country out everyone else in the industry has to do the same in order to survive. It will only get worse.
