So basically you have a problem with the HOS, not the e-logs themselves? All the elogs do is keep you from going over your hours. I understand where you are coming from. I miss paper, but I am doing just fine this way.

Loaded at Abbott many times-yes they do honor appts-never been there more than a few hours and been out of there in 35 min once.
The elog thing is actually great if you know how to use it to your advantage. The pay and miles are great with this company-I have never waited but once for 5 hrs at a walmart, but waited longer at walmart with other companies in past.
Sounds like you werent doing several things right or cued in with the way to roll -
Yes, but I wasted a whole day for free. 30 miles driving between breaks with no detention time isnt going to cut it...
-
The biggest problem is that they kept booking me on load appointments and the stuff was never ready on time. It got to be stupid towards the end...
I dont consider 32cpm "great" pay for someone with 16 years experience and a good driving record. Especially with no detention pay and too much sitting around... I can do better than that cleaning showers and toilets at Pilot... -
well i had my fill, i left last week and went back to my former company, I had to take a couple of days off extra to my home time ( i was already home) to help my mom who had to be hospitalized, they sent a driver out to get the truck to keep it moving,i had to drive 50 miles one way to pick him up, and they never even thought of asking me if i needed to be re-reimbursed for gas. then immediately took all travel expenses and drug test funds out of my paycheck, so by by Troy, may the bluebird of life fly up your ### and build a nest!!!!

Another satisfied driver LOL
-
What's funny is you toook the time to pick up the driver.
motocross066 Thanks this. -
So, tell us why you left? I want to see if others were being screwed as badly as I was...

i took the time to pick up the driver because Tony told me my job was safe, they just needed to get my truck rolling again, and then they would fly me back to KC to get another one, then when it was time, to go back, it was payday, and they had taken out every expense that they incurred during my orientation, so i assumed I had been released and left. nothing bad to say about the company except i got real tired of sitting all the time, most of the loads had way too much time on them, and I was tired of babysitting their trailers. i didn't get paid for that. i got pretty good miles the first month, then they fell off a little, but still good, pay was good considering all the sitting. I have been pulling a reefer for almost 21 years, never had a worse run outfit as far as the loads. and the way they think they are giving you something good for home time. now i run California from NC, home four days out 7-8. still making better money too!
delta5 Thanks this. -
Who are y'all pissing off by all that sitting?
Still no problems here. Been nearly 6 months. There are good and ok weeks. Just like any company. If you find a 100% PERFECT company, let me know.....
