Loves computer system crashes too often. I ran into that again last night. 4th time in the last month.
I am about to start ignoring the 'suggested' fuel stops that include Loves.
The only thing I'll give them is they usually have nice showers.

That's gonna be good for business . . . NOT! Just another reason to stay away from them.

Along with a notice on the main page of Love's (www.Loves.com)

there is also this FAQ on their site about Bike Week

    http://www.loves.com/BikeWeek.aspx

That music festival in Tennessee is on I-24, I want to say Bonaroo or something like that. They put an electronic sign on the center median that tells you when that festival is happening.

It sucks but oh well. Bike Week brings in A LOT of $$$ to that area.
    (and traffic)

I lived there for awhile, best bet is to draw a circle 150 mile radius around that area during this time period and do not even think about going inside it.

Haven't been down that way in quite awhile--If it is the one I'm thinking of--it is a small--kinda combo--campground--has a BBQ place--on north bound side of 27--but I have never stopped there--used to run 27 all the time--it has just gotten too built up in recent years--so I have been avoiding it--usually don't head down that way until last minute--usually though if I have to hang out down that way--I usually go to the market in Pompano

From some who grew up in the area--a looong time ago(when florida was still a southern agricultural state)--It isn't just during the entire speed week time anymore--Frankly other than the wee hours of morning--I quit running 95--south of Jax a very long time ago--it has just become much to unpredictable over the last 20+years--and at any given time will grind to a halt regularly--I have a close family member who is a Trooper out of Jacksonville--and as he puts it--he spends more time on the weekend--directing helicopter traffic--then he does patrolling!

We'll see how that Love's likes it when drivers stop going to that place because of this. I don't recall the driver saying bike week should be outlawed. Obviously that Love's is truly a Travel Center and NOT a Truck Stop.

While I am not a fan of LOVES--this one really is unique and a PITA almost any time of year--it is in a horrible spot--the best way to describe it(if you haven't been there)is it is like a small T/S just inside the entrance to a mall--just off the interstate--on an all too busy 4 lane highway--that has a very poorly planned entrance and exit sysytem--I am sure they had their reasons for placing it there--although there was a time(when I still had hair!) that this exit housed the only T/S on 95 between jacksonville and Titusville--but that was back when this whole area was so far out in the woods--you could still live and breath comfortably down home!
