Exactly! How often have we heard this from Dispatch: "It will be ready when you get there." Not holding my breath on that one! Now with more carriers going to e-logs, this will be even more critical. Another one is, from brokers or dispatch: "Go on in! They'll load you early!" QG in Martinsburg, WV begs to disagree. So you have all day to get there from Bedford, PA (about 90 minutes away), and would like to load before 1700 so you can get on down the road. They will not move an appointment without Papal Dispensation... SO all I did was burn clock sitting there! Product probably staged on the dock... just won't load it! 'Tis trucking!
