I haven't driven in over a year but am going back on the road with Swift and don't plan on ever making a break from driving again. LOL
-
how much milage a week did you start out with werner?
-
thanks need all the help.!
-
Mike I havent gotten my first load but average is 2500 a week
-
LT what made you go with swift? are they making you go back to school? they seem to have nice Eqip.
-
i talked to a werner recruiter today. He said he aproved my application and I would start of with 27.5 cents per mile and 2500 miles a week he said it was regional driving. He said also after a year then i would be making 29.5 cents per mile. is that ok money for a non experince driver?
-
$0.27.5 / mile at 58 MPH ( speed most runs are based on ) = $15.95 / hour so as long as the wheels are moving its not bad to START at.
However you will find that there is a lot of sitting , so thats usually $0.00 so be prepared for low income when starting out as a trainee. -
is there alot of siting with werner he was saying i would get 2500 miles a week. is prime better with milage?
-
When you say work hard what exactly do you mean, the unloading aspect or something else??? And what could and experienced driver look to make on something like that??? Would home time be better? I've never considered Werner before but if I could get on something dedicated and have reasonable hometime I would be interested!!
Thanks!!
