CR England is one of the ones that push leasing big time. I'd cross CRE off your list. If you read the threads here on them, I don't think anyone has done well with CRE.

 

Central Refer and Prime would be worth a bit more of a look. CRST (Crash Roll & Stunt Team - sorry couldn't help myself) I would stay away from too. They are on about the same level as CRE. Swift and Watkins Shepard might be worth a look too if they are an option for you as well. There are threads here on all of those mentioned.

 

As far as I know, Werner still does solo company. The kids just took over as the old man retired, so who knows what is going to happen there. I started with Swift myself, drove and dispatched for a local outfit for a while, and then drove for another OTR outfit. I've actually been out of the seat since late 2000. My hubby has been on the road since late 2007, with a couple of short time periods out of the seat.

 

Greetings from the Appleton area. Have you considered Schnieder National and going to a regional fleet? I think for OTR you might get home more with them.
