Trucker 101- That is making a pretty big assumption that your lights are not bothering anybody. Guess your 21 years driving gives you that mind reading ability. I think if I forget to shut off my lights I will just keep on doing what I consider the polite thing and assume that my lights are bothering the guy that is flashing me to shut them off. Not sure if it is a different procedure in your truck, but in mine I just have to hit a switch........not that hard.

Yes & out here {Alberta} everybody it seams either has a quad or snowmobile or something in the back and that lifts the front up & wammo (spell checker just went tilt:biggrin_2559:) bright lights. But mostly I see the driving lights on:biggrin_25512:, the little round or square ones in the bumpers. I have a 2002 f250 with these lights also. They only come on,on low beam. But to turn them on you have to pull the light switch out away from the dash. So guys are turning them on for SHOW I think because it ez to turn them off, just push the switch. I also upgraded my low/high with brighter bulbs from Crappy Tire, but I don't get flashed because my truck is level & when I put my camper on it I will readjust them.:yes2557::biggrin_25517:

actually i find ford trucks to be the worst--not sur if it is because of their brightness--or becausre of the way they are aimed

Again>>> Lights aimed down on the road on left one & in the bush on the right one. So I guess if you were in either of those places I guess you should MOVE :biggrin_2559:. Did you know that on most divided hwys in Alberta, because of the space between the the opposite direction lanes that. LEGALLY you can run with your high beams on! Yes there are some if-ands or buts, but basically in most areas it's legal. So if my little flash light strength lights bother you either do what you were taught in car driving school (look down & to the right) or quit driving at night.

I hate the new car's HID lights that almost seem to change color if you look at them. Those are absurd. Fog lights I can handle, high beams drive me nuts. Flashing is near pointless anymore.

I am not questioning the legality of it. You have every right to run with your lights on, or even run down the four lane with your high beams on. Just know that you are the "guy" that everybody is complaining about. So you just keep right on trucking down the road LEGALLY blaming everybody else because your to busy to shut off\dim your lights. I would suggest it is you that might need to stop driving at night if you require so much more light then everybody else to see........

What I am saying is is the way my lights are adjusted & with the strength of them You are probably one of the guys that also flashes me when its only my low beams on! Your lights are not bugging me even with them ALL on so I guess It's day shift only for you. So drive on driver I guess we can only agree to disagree.

Again, you are failing to realize it is YOU that needs to drive with all the lights on at night and telling me I need to drive in the day??. This is the very reason that I NEVER flash anybody if there lights are bothering me because they have that same mind reading abilty you have and know that in fact, they know better then I do that there lights are not bothering me. But I agree, we will just have to disagree.
See ya down the road.......(and I wont need my driving lights on to see you either).
