3406e timeing

    anyone know what would happen if u advance the timeing gear on a 3406e by one tooth?

    What ser# range? Anything with a 70 pin ecm, 2WS and up will throw a 22-11 code

    not if u unplug the cam sensor

    Cam or crank, ive done it with crank sensor unpluged before, but havent test both ways to see if differnet results it wont throw a code without two sensor comparing each other

    it wont do anything but throw a code a cat shop accidently did it to my last truck ran it for a week didnt notice any difference it was a 2ws e model.:biggrin_25513:

    I don't remember if tis suppose to be cam or crank sensor, I think its unplug cam sensor. I know of lots of people who have done it and it works fine. Your suppose to get a couple degree advance.
