Not an aprils fool thread. This is a serious situation. I wonder what you were reading to get this as some joke. I am looking for a help. And I appreciate the advice everyone has given me.

Thank you outerspacehillbilly for the non negative response. I feel that would be the best thing to do now. Now to find a good company.

No problem. The whole situation may or may not be "Fishy" but either way it sounds like you need to get back to work and even if he is able to get back to work it won't be anytime soon from the sounds of it so your really left with no choice anyway. Good Luck on finding a new job. Regardless of what people say there are plenty of them out there to be had.

I'd go along with trying to find a better job and in the meantime, check into unemployment compensation. See if you're eligible. Sit down with your boss (O/O) and have a man to man letting him know your worries and possible intentions. Sounds like you'll be depending on him to give you a good reference! If he's "stand up", he'll surely understand. If not, you'll need to move on anyway!

As far as a certain poster's contributions.... well, lets just say negativity oozes from just about every post! Just gotta ignore the foolish diatribe some post with regularity!

    outerspacehillbilly Thanks this.

Wait a minute rerun. If he has that many points, he won't get another job.

Plus do you have your 6 months in?

I would have a heart to heart talk with the guy and get a jest of the situation.

jb12288..... if this guy has let you rack up points because of his lack of concern, it's definitely time to cut the ties and move on. But don't go burning bridges, you might still need that reference someday.

Hopefully you're not screwed by the points and can find a much better situation. Anyway, don't give up.... you're young and you'll get through this situation.
