Ok, I have used the search button but couldn't find what I am looking for.

I am seeing a lot of good paying loads going from OH and MI into Canada. What do I need to do to be able to haul into Canada? Does someone have a link to a site that would spell out all the requirements for me.

    Thanks

is your tractor wheelbase over 244 inch?
if so its illegal for haul a 53 foot trailer in ontario.

you also must have your truck speed limited to 105 km/h while in ontario.

I think you also need an ontario CVOR number.

other then that add ontario to your cabcard

and talk to a customs broker about the border procedures

I know for entering into Canada your load has to be cleared through Custom's via the computer network at least 1 hour before you enter Canada.

I believe it's the same for returning to the U.S.A. if your loaded.

Hello! I have a question about these things, too: I went online on http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/menu-eng.html and sent the papers for non-bonded carrier. We got approved for PARS, we'd ordered and received the stickers with the bar codes. Everything good so far but I've heard that these stickers are ok to haul from US to Canada but not from Canada to US. Is this true? If it is... what else do I need to be able to load in Canada and unload in US?

    Thank you in advance!

The U.S. processing system is called PAPS. The U.S. also has the ACE manifest. Go onto the U.S. CBP site as I am sure all the required information is there. You will also need a U.S. CBP transponder, or pay something like $11 per crossing.

Don't forget a passport (or other approved document) so you don't get stuck in Canada forever.

$10.75 and US Customs will take VISA/MC....just pass it out the window with your Passport or FAST Card.
