    WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU GUY'S OR GAL'S HAVE TRIED ANY OF THESE'S http://www.heatermeals.com/. I GOT A SECOND chance at driving and will be leaving on sunday morning and start on monday,,, (sorry about the cap's)

    I haven't tried them - but I would wonder about cost? Wouldn't it be less expensive to get a plug in 'oven' or 'slow cooker' to warm up food? Cans of stew, soup, chili, ravioli? Just a thought...

    Kinda looks like an MRE, only with better pakaging. If there anything like those, keep some Imodium handy.

    They're nasty. Good in a pinch if you have nothing else left to eat but if you have other food options, take those instead! Oh and make sure there's a bathroom nearby because it hits your system like a truck.

    seeing where my system is 51 years old, i dont think it could take getting hit by a truck,,, guess i'll steer clear of them and stick with the soups, and stuff i can handle. thanks all.

    It was a good idea in theory, but the end product was gross.

    ..maybe it just needed more ketchup? lol

    Much cheaper to buy the microwave meals at Walmart for around $2 each. You can use a microwave or the small 12Volt oven with some water added (which is what I have been doing for past year). Takes about 90 seconds in microwave and 10 minutes in small 12volt lunchbox oven.

    Well the do kind of suck BUT they won't kill you--I also am older--and USED to have an iron clad stomach but also have to watch it now--LOL
    But they aren't any worse than typical vending machine throw in the nuker stuff--I have a bunch of 'em--they cost too much--but found a bunch last fall @Dollar general(I think--or one of those type stores)for like $2 apiece and bought a doazen--to throw in truck for winter just in case got into one of those really bad one's--but a steady diet--nah
