I was a chiropractic assistant for a little more than 4 years ( this was my only job in the US. Back at home ( Romania) I worked part time in advertising, part time I was a student.

 

A high school student--LMAO

 

a senior manager in aviation running a large air cargo operation for more than a decade.....

but don't let the title or the position fool you....i'll be making more as a second or third year driver if i can get on with a decent company and not a bottom feeder than i do now as a profitable manager in this airplane business after 15 long years of doing it....the only ones making any money in it are the pilots and executive management.....at least drivers can get a raise every now and then and can get bonuses based on performance with the right companies.....i haven't seen one in 10 years and don't even know what a perfomance based bonus is.

i know there's bs in every game you have to deal with.....i'm just ready for a 'different' kind of bs for awhile haha

 

Interesting thread.

Before driving worked in IT, worked as a tin basher(sheet metal), worked security, and pumped some gas. This is the longest I've stayed in any career.

 

I worked a crappy job wireing circuit boards at Whelen Engineering! It sucked and was basically like the worst 4+ years of my life!
It was incredibly boring and the place was ran by a bunch of retarded monkees that were also blind and deaf!
