    QUOTE=Wedge;1863332]Ugh! I'm still getting use to 80's in March.[/QUOTE]

I'm getting on the Big Bird Sunday headed for Joplin. My homies can deal with that 90/90 crap. 90+ heat with 90+ humidity.
AT, it sounds like W/S needs to put there foot up this companies *** that's jerking you around. Hopefully this trip out will get better quick.

So I went and got rid of that beer this morning, nice little place, I hate NJ thank god for GPS!!!! Even with it I ended up takeing a wrong turn:biggrin_2559: oops

Plenty of room to park there if anyone may be going there.

Anyway then I ran over to PA to get a load of Recyled plastic in bails. I hate these places, there always in "new" never heard of places (not in GPS). Anyway so on the way there I see a sign 13' 3 ahead! OH SHEET!:biggrin_25521:

Well since I know my GPS is smarter then these signs AND there was NO PLACE to even pull over to think let alone turn around, I decided to go up until I could at least see it before I decided what to do, Well I get there and hmmm the weirdest looking covered bridge I've ever seen:biggrin_2556: Its 13' 3" all the way to the right and 13' 11" down the center acording to the signs.....and SKINNY!

So I pull off to the side (2 feet) and let all the cars and Midroof trucks go through and once it was clear I stratled the center line and dropped my air bags cleared it with 5" to spare.

Then on the way back the other side just says 13' 6":biggrin_2556: so I did the same thing just in case lol

Anyway I hate these recyleing places they smell horrible I sure hope they pay those guys that work there better then they pay there drivers....:biggrin_2558:

Anyway so instead of haveing a dock to load the plastic they have this little ramp with landing gear you back up to it and they lower it so its resting in your trailer then drive up it!:biggrin_2555: its not bolted to the ground or anything he pushed it with his forklift to get it straighter....I was waiting for him to fall out :biggrin_2559:

DC TRAFFIC SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 hours of 1-3 gears!:biggrin_2555: Oh and this WAS NOT rush hour this was 2pm!

Anyway so then I drove down here to Ruther Glen, VA. This has to be about the best Exit for parking in the country, HUGE Petro, Flying J, and a 60 spot loves, AND a Mr. Fuel. Theres got to be over 2000 spaces between them all! I like it!:biggrin_255:

Anyhoo so I dont deliver until MONDAY OUTCH! so I'm going to do a 34 somewhere in NC. I'm only 4 hours from the receiver now....and I have 2 options:

Option #1: Stop at the Awsome Petro in Kenly, NC for the 34 hour reset, then drive 1 hour to receiver on monday with a fuel stop in beween.

    Pro's:

    TRUCK WASH!!!!
HUGE CHROME SHOP (i need some)
lots of resteraunt choices (includeing Subway)
TONS of room to park and to walk around and or not have someone next to you for 34 hours
Three Big TS's at this exit ( J, Petro, Wilco)

    Cons:

    1 hour from Receiver
Fuel stop between here and Receiver
Pay for shower OR go over to the J across the Street and use some of my points for a free shower

Option #2: I can play steering wheel holder tomorrow, and drive the 3 hours to Kenly and wash my truck:biggrin_255: and buy my chrome:biggrin_25525:, then go to my fuel stop which is 20 miles from the reciever fuel then do my 34 hour reset there...

    Pro's:

    Subway
    Loves
    Closer to receiver
Dont have to waste 15 minutes fueling on Monday morning

    Cons:

    only 75 spots
Truck may still be wet after wash and might collect dirt on the way there
    only one option for food
Never been there before so dont know whats around

    what to do.......:biggrin_2557:

Question about the Kenley Petro....is it brand new (or almost)? I think I've been there before, stayed at the J for a 34 waiting to deliver on a Monday, was a T/A when I was there...on the other side of the interstate from the J and across the street from the Wilco...sounds familiar...

    Let see.....

I got up early as usuall and left at 7am got to the Petro in Kenly, NC at 10am, went straight to the Blue Beacon and got the Truck and the trailer washed (note to other new W/S drivers the dont want the trailers washed on the road) why I dont know....Anyway I got the truck washed, rain X'ed and engine washed. (another note to new W/S drivers W/S will NOT pay for anything more then a basic wash) didn't matter to me I was getting it done reguardless I just had to pay $16 out of my pocket and they paid the $61.

And now I know why they call it Streakin Beacon....They did a pretty good job looks ALLOT better then it did before, in fact better then when I got the truck. It would be better if they Dried the truck after though...

Anyway then I went into the Largest Chrome shop on the East Coast and bought me some chrome:biggrin_255:. $86.07 for 2 Front Hub Covers, 4 Rear Hub Covers, and 60 Lug Nut Covers, not to bad considering how much I got...

Took for ever to get it all on because I had to take what little nasty old chrome off first. And then when I got to the Rear Drive axle on the Passenger side the cover wouldnt fit...:biggrin_25511: so I'm like hmmmm and I had 3 hub covers on there but they were rusted to H3ll. and the one that was on that axle was all dented and I alway woundered why....

Well now I know, when the hub was assembled when the bolts we're tightend 4 of them stopped with a point pointing away from the center of the hub so it made the 8" hub just a hair bigger....:biggrin_25523:

So instead of being retarded like whoever put the last hub cover on and just hitting it until it fit over the bolts, I carefully streached the hub cover until it fit perfectly!:biggrin_25525: and I was ablt to do it without any damage to the Front of the hub cover, if you look at the side of the 1" lip you'll see how i did it but you cant see that unless your down on the ground looking at it so...I dont care lol

Anyway so then I decided since I didnt want to buy anymore stuff I needed to leave because I saw at least 10 other things I would have bought had I gone back inside, now i didnt get it the first time in because it was all I could do to carry all that chrome out to the truck...

Now I did forget something rather important I saw there the last time and I forgot to get it and I did it again!:biggrin_25513: Oh well...i'm sure i'll get back there someday.

Anyway so I came down here to the loves, fueled and parked. It was only half full if that! :biggrin_255:

anyway so here I sit and wait until monday morning......I'm only 31 minutes from the receiver. So by comeing here I saved .75 hours off my new 70 on monday lol

    Here are some pics.....ENJOY!:

yes:biggrin_2559: Its just pops on and off, its not bolted to the truck or anything.

I did keep all of the old rusted and dented chrome so the next driver can use that if they prefer to save money on there own....:biggrin_2559:
