That was Halliburton and KBR and wall you have to do is google and click and fill out the application and you'll have a call by the next day! I did mine back right after we jumped in Iraqi and they called me that evening! I was all but on the plane to Texas when they decided that my Hep A from 1973 disqualified me!

They send three trucks all pickup at same place all going to the same place only one truck has the load and its sometimes so lightweight you dont know which truck its on...oh but the 4 black sedans that you see every now and then

Really so how many of these types of GOVT convoys have you pulled...
I have done many 3 trucks pick up In Ca. the load is ONE 1000 lb box
HMMM which trailer is on....we dont know but all 3 of us show in NC together drop all 3 trailers...they pick up all three trailers....then bring them back all 3 of us had copies of the paper work ...still know one knows what was on the trailer or Which one of us actually pulled it.

The pay sucks, speicly for the added hassle/risk of hauling money and being armed. .38cpm split for a team whoo-hoo!

 

Not a fable have done that load 8 times from Concord Ca. Naval weapons station to Naval weapons station in Sunnyside NC....

If you havent been involved in doing it...I am sure it sounds like a fable to you...but the Govt still moves loads like this to this date...

And personally dont care weather you believe it or not... but being with the carrier you are with you WILL NEVER see any kind of load like that...
Baggett, Boyle, Ranger INWAY, TSMT are about the only ones who still do this...that are NOT part of the so called Ghost fleet...

 

Kinda like the story I heard. Guys sitting in a TS when some MP's come in asking who's got the MT flat bed, then make him go to some base that's not on the map and pick up a still hot and smoking steel box, and take it to another unmarked base. He didn't worry about directions he just followed the black sedan
