Cameras snap speeders

I think I know of a solution to this: don't speed?

 

Not sure what is going to happen with this one--but AZ had been doing this for quite a while and it couldn't pass muster in their courts--so for now discontinued

 

With local government budgets being squeezed, I think more and more towns will go with this type of "snap a picture and mail a fine" system. Is it just a way to raise revenue without stopping the motorist, finding out what caused them to speed and remove them from the road, if need be ?!?!?! ... OF COURSE ... call it for what it is, just a way to raise money and public safety is a secondary issue.
