1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Ill be attending TDI in April for my CDL. Trying to stay away from the Mega carrier's. Ill be living in Kinston, NC. Would prefer a local job, but I wouldn't argue with a job where I have hometime on the weekends. I've looked into Epes and that was a no go due to not being an approved school. Also tried West Bros out of Raleigh and they don't have an opening for a grad at the moment. Plan on trying CCC and CTL. Any others in the area? I'd try flatbed, I'm not afraid of hardworking at all, but not sure if I can do the tarps, I'm a little guy at 150, but I'm considering it.

If you don't mind teaming, try Inman Trucking out of Leland. They are down by Wilmington. Coast to coast operation.
