Not really. The emphasis was on seat belt usage and proper documentation, and yet many drivers still don't know any better. If fastening a seat belt, having up-to-date permits, registration, and proper logging will keep me under the radar, then I'm going to do just that.

......and yet many drivers will never know any better. :biggrin_25513:

how many drivers out there actually wear their seat belt? I rarely see any driver wearing one and all the drivers I haul with don't wear them. Why you ask, I dont know. Maybe they just dont care. I tend to wear mine at times but when I come to the site and get loaded or dump out or picking up roll off boxes its in my way. although Im barely moving and not any roads so its not a huge concern to me

One day 162 trucks. Makes you wonder what would happen if they did their #### job everyday.

any one know how many trucks were stopped in total? Was it 162 out of 200 or was it like 162 out of 5000? Makes a big difference what the ration was.

It gives a troop by troop breakdown at the bottom. Roughly 10% at a glance.

I always wear my seat belt. Most of the drivers I see on the road wear theirs.
But obviously not all of them!
Like JimDriv said...is it too much to ask drivers to do their basic job?

Enforcement is always neccessary for compliance. People forget the rules are there for everyones safety. Follow the rules and you won't get in trouble.

But once, just once, I would like to read, 162 four-wheelers ticketed!
