I know this is an old story, but I just recently (about 5 minutes ago) learned why this womans name sounded sooo familar.

She was Interviewed by NJCatwoman on YouTube in September 2010. Some of you may know NJCatwoman Better as Christy English, she had a VERY popular TV show back in the '70s and was only aired in the north east, but was HUGE at the time. Anyway I thought I would share the video of the interview AND the new video NJCatwoman just made as a memorial to Judy Stanton the woman who was killed at the Loves.....

    Here's the Memorial Video:

I made a tribute video for Judy, it is featured on my YouTube channel, NJKatwoman. In September of 2010, I met Judy for the first time while we were making a delivery to the same place. We hit it off! I videotaped her, and she was the fifth installment in my ongoing video series, "The LadyTrucker Chronicles". Her video has received over 2,000 hits! We spoke frequently on the phone, she was such a huge help to me because I can get lost getting out of a truck stop! lol! I had seen her the week before she was killed, she woke my sleepy butt up and got me out of the bunk with some fresh coffee that she had made just for me! I sat in her truck, loving on her dog, Todd, and enjoyed a 45 minute visit. We had also spoken for at least an hour the night before she was killed. I went into Canada on the 8th, and she had made me promise to text her as soon as I got out, which was the 10th. That is when her daughter-in-law broke the bad news to me. I became hysterical, and had to pull the truck off to the side of the road. I miss her dearly. I can still hear her voice in my head. Ours was a friendship that would have only grown deeper and more wonderful over the passing of time, and I was going to ask her to join me at MATS this year, for the "Salute to Women Behind the Wheel" run by Women In Trucking. Judy was, to me, a larger than life lady. She had a great sense of humor. She was devoted and loving to her family, and her beloved dog, Todd. I cannot believe that she lay out in that truck stop parking lot and nobody saw anything. There were men who DID see, but they are not speaking. I do not know why, and I do not understand that discompassionate mentality. Here is her tribute video if anyone wishes to see it:
