I would if I could...but I wake up naturally at 4-5, tired of course. but if I go back to sleep until 8-9 or so, I feel like crap the rest of the day. thats just me though. My wife could sleep through a day and not miss it, lol.

Nah I didn't. Sorry I havent updated this in a while. Just been trying to reseach the hell out of something. The way it happend was it was scheduled for a saturday, but I couldn't find the proper paperwork. So it got rescheduled for that following tuesday. I show up and the lady started "arguing" with me on what vehicle I had braught. She thought I had brought a white one on saturday, I said nope was the blue van, the same one that I brought today. She said are you sure? Yup Im sure what vechicle I brought, weve never owned a white vehicle. And ill admit the pre trip could of went better, and I could understand why she failed me I wont lie about it have no reason to. I pretty much stayed on one side of the vehicle, and left a lot of things out but I was super nervous so a lot of it slipped my mind. Forgot to say check the windshield for cracks and chip, forgot to mention make sure the headlights were clear and working, even though I mentioned the tread, I didnt say how much had to be on or to say check the side walls for bulges or cracks. So ya it didnt go well at all, and Ill admitt I was at fault for it. But I belong to quit a few expediting forums, and someone with some miles under his belt told me its probably a good thing I didnt pass the road test. He said to try and stay away from companys that require a CDL and just stick with a company that only requires a chauffeurs license. That way you have more freedom on how you run, when you run stuff like that.

Kind of. It was to try and get my CDL class C. I didnt have to rent a van like I thought, just used our normal mini van. But as I said I been told to stay away from companys that require any kind of cdl because then they can limit how you run and what not.

Hey Piep, I been meaning to update this, just never get around to it. SO thanks for askin and makin me update it :-D

Right now even though I been told to stay away from getting a CDL, cause companies can dictate how you can run, so I been told, Ive decided to go ahead and get my CDL anyway. With the intention of going to say Panther to get experince, and if I dont like it there I can go somewhere else. My problem is what level to get. I been told to get a CDL B, but I have a no air brake restriction on my license just because I dont want to deal with them. So Ive decided to go with a CDL/C, and ran into the problem id either need to get the passenger endorcement, which would do me no good. Or to go get the Hazmat endorcement, which would open more doors for me and I could say possibly go with FedEx C.C. This upcomming week im going to start the process and get my hazmat. I got to go to Saginaw Michigan ( or close to it) And get my finger prints ran and all that good stuff started. So for now thats the update. Im still focused as all hell to turn this dream into a reality :-D
