Depends on the company. Some will have a stock antennae already mounted on the mirror mount. Of course they are not that good so a better solution is to buy your own. Buy the quick connect set up that has a pair of vice grips as part of the mounting bracket. You can set this up within minutes and need no tools to swap it between trucks.

When my son got his truck from Werner,it had the antenna &power cord so we scewed the bracket in and connected everything, mic holder was there too. For some reason though it's not working,we adjusted the meter as specified, but it's not sending or recieving for some reason.I told him when he gets a chance to stop at a cb shop I read on here that's what you should do to get it calibrated, costs $25. Now he just has to find one & get it done.
If your company has slip seating,IMO I would take it out when you leave the truck(it's just 2 thumb screws) .

Some stock antennaes seem to do double duty. Volvo trucks seem to have the cb antennae wired into the am/fm radio as well. This limits the effective use of the antennae and if the coax gets crimped/damaged/cut you will lose the radio reception as well as not be able to receive or transmit very far with the cb.

Best solution is buy your own cb hardware and mount it to a bracket that is seecurely grounded. In the case of Volvo trucks they have over size mirror brackets so buy the stud (a threaded 5 inch piece of metal) that can be screwed directly into the truck. Simply remove a bolt either from the mirror or from the exterior sun visor and replace with the stud. This will provide a suitable antennae mount.

Every Swift truck had it prewired, just hook up the CB itself. I had 13 different trucks (including Volvo, Freightliner and International) in 2 years if you count loaners over 3 days.

They're weak though, best to do like the above mentioned and fork over the cash for the vice grip included version. This is if you want some actual range. If a couple miles is enough the stock works.
