    HELLO ALL. I AM GOING TO ORIET. FOR FFE ON MONDAY THE 18TH. GETTING A LITTLE NERVOUS ABOUT ALL THE TESTS. I MEAN IT SUCKS THAT I HAVE TO TAKE ANOTHER DOT TEST,AND DRIVING TEST WHEN I JUST GRADUATED 2 WEEKS AGO. DONT UNDERSTAND THAT. ANYWAYS IS THE DRIVING TEST HARD? IS IT SIMLAR TO THE CDL STATE TEST WITH ALL THESE QUESTIONS? :biggrin_2556:

    that just so the company are satisfied that you had a good tutor theres alot of people out there that claim to be able to drive but its a different story when they do a driving test

    I've been driving truck for 15 years. Everything from van to reefer to flat to tanker. I will be starting with FedEx ground later this week and I had a road test today. It's actually a mandate to have a road test on file for an employee. Don't sweat it. Just do what you were trained to do and take your time. The instructors will take you step by step for what they need.

    Dude, relax. The road test is a basic 2 mile, stop, go, turn right etc. They'll be 3 other drivers with you. The written is an open book type thing, easy as pie. Stay awake during the videos etc. or you will be jumping on the big dog back home. That's the big Greydog.

    chefy, I'm planning on goin to FFE Academy in May, seemed like a good choice as far as school and job. Let me know what it is like. I'm a little nervous about the physical.

    I actually started at another school last monday but due to circumstances beyond my control, not sure I can comlete it $$$ wise. However, they assured me I am not to late to drop and walk away owing nothing. Already been in contact with FFE and they are waiting to reserve a spot. So, can anyone tell me if I've made a mistake ? Was pullin out the wrong thing to do ? I explained to FFE and they seemed to not have any problem.
