Schneider Oreintation

I'm on my way to Indianapolis for my Schneider oreintation. They gave me my conformation number at 9:45am and told me my bus is leaving at 11:45. Good thing I only leave 10 mintues away from the Greyhound termainal. Then when I got to my gate they changed it without telling me the only way I found out was I overheard another passenger ask about it but I made it and I Nap bound, WISH ME LUCK!

 

I'm here at the Ramada, I have a cool roomate thank God for that, ready to get started can't wait until tomorrow.

 

We had a ton of stuff threw at us but I think it'll turn out fine. I had a good first 9 hour day

 

Saturday of training we had to do a log book exercise, trip planning exercise, today we had a computer presentation about the things Schneider likes for their drivers to do and rules and regs , read two chapters about shifting and coupling and uncoupling. We have to do a log book everyday, we log or on duty time while in class then off duty while on lunch, then finsh off duty when we leave and do our recap and trhe instructor checks it and we go back to the hotel. Monday we'll be in the truck, half in class half the day then the seconda half go out to drive. We had a physical today push pull test, stepping on a box for 1 minutes, 10 squats, lifting 30# and 60# waist high from the ground, and kneeling under a platform twice for 20sec each, and climb up on a table trailor height twice using proper technique(3 points of contact) all while staying under your target heart rate.......How about that GEAR
