    Guys,

I imagine there are hit/miss instances, but has anyone had a long drought where not being able to stop and re-supply, or stop for food and other on the road needs; is it more common than not?

    Or,

For most part, is it easy enough find or take periods of downtime for this type of thing while on the road; re-supplying or refreshing the truck something that's just done at the an oppertunistic level?

    Thanks for input!

    sorry so wordy.

Well I am no longer there but I just spent the last 6 months there and took a total of 15 days off inthat time, you will ha e plenty of time to run to the store and resupply the truck, I would suggest that if you can locate a Wal Mart that you just take your 10 there and do it all at once, you silll for the most part have a few hours between to ruhave to eqtns to go grab a bit because as large as a variety the TS has to eat it still gets old, I had plenty of time when on the road, if you know how to work your log book, now I am on elogs and though I can't work them as well I still am adjusting to them. I didn't leave because they were a bad company I left for a better opportunity, take care be safe. TD24

You stop whenever you want...Never go hungry or without, no need to...You'll learn to manage your time as you go along...

You're just excited, I think we can ALL relate to that, I know I can...I still remember the first trip by myself, talk about exciting...It was just as when I solo'd a plane for the first time, I was asking myself, "they really are going to let me do this, holy schit!" hehe

Yep, have alot to think about for next 9-years or so to jump off 21+ years with the state out here..............alot of life to successfully "dismantle" so to speak and build a new life elsewhere. Strateg-erization-ating (new word) it all out.............

    Lol, keep on truckin'!
    Later,

Yeah what he said? 9 years before you get out here? We may be all flying helicopters by that time, I actually hope to be sitting somewhere with sand in orifaces(sp) of my body and not driving a truck! We will see how the boys are working my money by that time.... be safe TD24

I solo'd a plane after only 10.4hrs of flying but can say I really think the truck was more stressful because there were others around...In the plane, I really only needed to worry about myself, not other knuckleheads in smaller ones! LOL I taught flying for 10yrs, now THAT was stressful! People are crazy! :biggrin_2559:
