Not only do you need to know state laws, individual towns, villages, counties etc... all have their own reg.s.

i just thought of something else: Most larger(i.e., Holiday Inn etc) and even smaller hotel chains have truck parking and they are attended at the front desk 24 hours.

So if you need to P or take a dump this would be a very safe(not to mention clean, unlike most truckstops) place to do it.

Alot of times you can just walk in and use the restrooms in/near the lobby or pool area. But sometimes you have to go to the front desk and ask; i would suggest asking for a room and then "decide" that the price is too high but then as you're leaving ask if you can use the restroom.

i like taking dumps here because it's very clean and smells good and it's quiet unlike most truckstops. i've never actually taken a dump at a truckstop because i would be physically unable to.

So, what i would do is go to the hotel chains' website and request a directory---this will tell you which locations have truck parking (most do). Then you're all set as far as the bathroom thing goes. This will not solve 100% of the time----sometimes you just can't predict but it will help.

i am continuing to come up with solutions to the bathroom issue.

Actually, this isnt true. I have sprayed my brother in law with pepper spray and used a tazer on him. All he did was shake his head and keep coming. He was pretty accurate also. These things basically have very little effect on druggies.

Then you have some seriously wimpy, or age-expired pepper spray.... I've used the stuff many more times than I can count (close to a hundred, I'd say), and the ONLY time it wasn't effective was on a young airman who had amphetamines in his system and had injected himself with atropine...

Even if the pepper spray was "seriously wimpy, or age-expired pepper spray", tazers aren't wimpy and don't age expire. Drugs can cause people to become "super human" in short bursts. I'm an ex nurse, I've had to 4 point restrain too many to count. With help of course.

I agree with you, but your mileage may vary, as they say, and to call me a liar wasn't necessary.

If you are inferring that I called you a liar, I assure wasn't. Merely stating facts I have observed myself. The same as you have stated. (Just a little difference of observations here)I am not going out on the road will the false sense of safety that papper spray or tazers give alot of people.
And that is all I'm saying on the matter.

Not about to get into a urination contest on this, but you posted "Actually, this isnt true". If I'm not telling the truth, then I'm lying.

Are there radical exceptions to some rules? Sure. Will a truck driver face a screamie zombie on 4 pounds of angel dust and a half pound of crack? Probably not.

Perhaps I just took exception, with my experience, to being told my statement wasn't "true". Your mileage (and experiences) may vary, but it doesn't mean that I'm lying about mine.
