What is needed for tanker endorsement? do you have to get a fingerprint check for that like the hazmat? Do you need to renew it every so often like a hazmat?

Tomorrow I will be taking the doubles triples test. Maybe I will study for tanker for next week :biggrin_25519: next month I will go for hazmat, I just hate the fact you have to renew it every couple of years.

If you have hazmat then you will have a different renewal time then just tanker, at least here in Fl. Our CDL less hazmat is good for 8 yrs but with it only 4.
Hope this helps some??? Plus of course the fingerprinting for hazmat endorsement!

I got my experience hauling milk in a smooth bore tanker, and also hauling liquid fertilizer in tanks with baffles.

Milk is short hauls, up to 1,000 miles. Fertilizer is an hourly job for me, but is seasonal in the spring for me.

I'm located out in jersey, so what would be my best bet on how to search for a company that will be willing to train, plus give me a job?
