    No, I agree.

I'm sick of buying my own meals and paying my mortgage. I think it IS time for someone besides the driver to fork it over.

Comon...............everything is on the driver...........they give us a ton of responsability, if something goes wrong.......we pay.............any driver out there should be able to figure this out

Of course the driver is responsible. It is part of the job description.

Is this another whiny thread where it's us against the world, it's not fair, blah, blah, blah? Sounds like a 13 year old girl throwing a fit because mommy won't drive her to the mall so she can meet her friends.

So many threads here start with some short rant that makes no sense, has no examples, and no true remedies. Gets old..

You mean I have to get a RECEIPT before I can be reimbursed? I've never dealt with that in ANY job! Please.... travel vouchers in the military, tolls when traveling for a company, meal reimbursements when attending training classes... it's in EVERY industry. And if it's something your employer doesn't reimburse, it's a tax deduction. In the trucking industry, we can deduct pretty much anything spent on the truck or equipment... can't do that in normal jobs.
